1.1. Our services are limited strictly to the supply and installation of fitted furniture units as specified in the agreed quotation/order. 1.2. Unless expressly agreed in writing, no additional works are included, including but not limited to: electrical works, data connections, AV installation, wall preparation, structural modifications, or removal/reinstallation of existing fixtures.
2. Made-to-Order & Non-Returnable Goods
2.1. All furniture is manufactured to order based on customer-approved specifications. 2.2. Once an order has entered production, it is non-cancellable and non-refundable. 2.3. As bespoke items, all products are non-returnable unless proven to be faulty or not in accordance with the agreed specification.
3. Customer Responsibilities
3.1. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all site conditions are suitable prior to installation. 3.2. This includes, but is not limited to:
Walls being structurally sound and capable of supporting the installation
Floors being level, flat, and load-bearing
Adequate access for delivery and installation
Services (electric, data, etc.) being correctly positioned
3.3. Any delays, additional works, or costs arising from unsuitable site conditions shall be the sole responsibility of the customer.
4. Wall & Floor Suitability
4.1. The customer must ensure that all walls and floors are fit for purpose and capable of supporting the installed furniture and any associated equipment. 4.2. We do not carry out structural assessments unless explicitly agreed in writing. 4.3. We accept no liability for:
Failure of wall fixings due to inadequate substrate
Movement, instability, or damage caused by uneven or unsuitable flooring
Any consequences arising from incorrect or undisclosed site conditions
5. Installation Limitations
5.1. Our installation service is limited to positioning, assembling, and securing the furniture units in accordance with standard practices. 5.2. We do not guarantee fixing into all wall types (e.g. plasterboard, stud walls) unless suitable structural support is present. 5.3. Where fixing is not possible or appropriate, units may be installed freestanding or with alternative methods at our discretion.
6.1. Interactive whiteboards and associated equipment are not supplied unless explicitly stated. 6.2. The removal, installation, refitting, calibration, or connection of interactive whiteboards or AV equipment is strictly the responsibility of the customer or their appointed specialist contractor. 6.3. We accept no liability for:
Damage to existing equipment during removal or reinstallation (unless caused by proven negligence)
Compatibility issues between the furniture and third-party equipment
Costs associated with AV installation or specialist contractors
7. Weight Loading & Usage
7.1. Our furniture is designed to accommodate equipment within stated specifications and intended use. 7.2. Any additional loading, modification, or misuse outside of intended design parameters is the responsibility of the customer. 7.3. We accept no liability for issues arising from:
Excessive or incorrectly distributed loads
Installation or use of non-compatible equipment
8. Variations & Additional Costs
8.1. Any variation from the agreed specification or unforeseen site conditions may result in additional charges. 8.2. These will be communicated where possible but may be unavoidable in order to complete installation safely.
9. Liability
9.1. Our liability is strictly limited to the supply and installation of the furniture as specified. 9.2. We shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Additional costs incurred by the customer (including third-party contractors)
Pre-existing site conditions or defects
Works outside our defined scope
9.3. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Acceptance of Works
10.1. Upon completion of installation, the customer (or their representative) is deemed to have accepted the works unless issues are raised within 48 hours in writing. 10.2. Any concerns must be reported promptly to allow investigation.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
